DeSoto Trail Elementary

Welcome to Second Grade! I’m Sharon Whitley, and I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year! This is my 14th year at DeSoto Trail Elementary, having relocated from the Ft. Lauderdale area, where I taught grades K-6 for 16 years in both the private and public school systems. I have been married to my awesome husband, Terrill, for almost 39 years. We have two sons, Austin & Kyle, as well as a daughter, Tori, who is a senior at FSU. We also have twin grandsons, Landon and Tucker, and a granddaughter, Charlotte. When not teaching, I enjoy the beach, even if it is 2+ hours away! I also enjoy reading, going to the movies, and spending time with my family.
