DeSoto Trail Elementary

Our Student Council gives fourth- and fifth-grade Trailblazers the opportunity to develop leadership skills and make a positive impact on our school community. Each class elects a representative, and together these students form the council. Representatives can also run for higher offices, including President, Vice President, and Secretary.

The council meets once a month and works through committees to assist with school events, activities, and charitable drives. Members are recommended by multiple teachers and must maintain strong grades and exemplary behavior. Sponsored by Tallahassee Killearn Kiwanis and led by Mrs. Olson, Student Council is a great way for students to learn responsibility, teamwork, and service.
