DeSoto Trail Elementary

Hello! I’m Telisha Watson, and I have been teaching first grade at DeSoto Trail since 2013. I am committed to creating a warm, supportive learning environment grounded in hands-on experiences and clear, consistent encouragement. I believe every child deserves to feel seen, safe, and excited about learning, and I strive to help my students recognize their strengths and grow in confidence each day.

I grew up in Calgary, Alberta, and moved to Tallahassee in 2007. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and our three boys. We love camping, traveling, and exploring new places together.
