DeSoto Trail Elementary

I graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in English Literature and completed some postgraduate education at Eastern Michigan University. Before teaching, I worked in public relations, marketing, and sports media. I became a stay-at-home Mom after the birth of our second child and spent much of that time volunteering in classrooms and at church. I even hosted several kids camps out of our home, to fulfill that desire to pour into others!

My family and I have lived in 4 different states, making our home in Tallahassee, Florida in the summer of 2023. I spent a year volunteering at DeSoto Trail Elementary before deciding to pursue teaching full-time.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending FSU baseball games, cooking, gardening, and crafting. My husband is a baseball coach for FSU, Go Noles! Together we have two children, Mallory (5th grade) and Mason (2nd grade) that both attend DeSoto Trail.
